Help with Advanced midi commands please

Alright, so Im slightly new to this, and I figured I'd get a little more detailed help in the newbie forum. So here goes...
I got an MPD24, and it actually doesnt suck, meaning I get no knob glitching or anything, so Im happy. I want to actually do DJing with this thing in a live setting rather than using Live as a DAW. I wanted to set up the triggers on the board to do normal things like navagation through the clips, and then when I get to a clip, I wanted to use the knobs to control the zoom in and out of the track, and adjust the cue point with another knob/looping and such. The problem is that there is no way to use the midi mapping capability to these complex commands.
I have started to use Bome's Midi Translator to do some of these things, like navigate clips, launch them with the little transport controls on the bottom of the device, and bring either clips or tracks into view. The problem comes into play that I cant use Bome and Live's mapping at the same time. I would gladly go only to Bome but then I cant do things like use the faders on the MPD to control cue levels, and faders.
Altogether, is there a way to get these more ellaborate commands through the Live Mapping?
