there was a few posts regarding ac plug creating noise..
the solution is to pick up a ground lift unit/socket.
it cheats a 3 prong into a regular 2.
ask your local electronic store or any pro studio engineers, they will know about ground lift.

Hello,

Mostly the ac plug is not the one that causes problems.
In most cases it is a ground loop in the audio setup.
eg. not proper grounded guitar amp, connected to the computer through a long cable or the computer directly connected to the PA.

With cable runs, audio cables, of over 10meters / 30feet it is recomended to use a DI box (ground isolator / transformer). Not on the power supply, but on the audio path.

It's best to have a stereo (or two mono) DI box (es) with on one side two Jack connectors (use a small plug to convert to cinch) and on the other side XLR, those 3 pin connector.
This will end all problems!

Hope this gives clarity.
Enjoy the music,
