Nice Zettt!

I liked the Beat De-construction...

Yes - didn't have a problem to understand what you were doing on those where you are talking German -

Hey here is my chance to learn German too!

Auf Wiederzehn (?)

yeah i just played around with it yesterday, and its nuts i tell you.

try using loops set at 1 to 2 bars, and set the lenght to pretty low (like one hit only of the loop only, perhaps take the second and third 8th in there aswell), turn the loop on and assign a macro to length and one to start (With pretty low values), to get some kind of autechre-ish style percussion.

actually yes i am :)
i still cant believe i didnt think of htat myself though :D

what i like the most though is the fact that your tutorials tend to end in a way that you go "yeah!", rather then the usual "i knew that" way.

way to go.

i knew that. :p

shame on you for plugging your website.
you know you could just aswell rightclicked and selected "distribute ranges equally".

also i think that it would propably sound better if you were to fade out chain 1, while fading in chain 2 etc. smoother transitions. (anyone know how to do this in a fast way?)

a matter of preference though, i guess.

related:
now could you map chain1 to "A", chain 2 to "S", chain3 to "D" etc, so that when you press A it jumps to playing only chain1, while the others are muted?

or do you need something like Bome“s MIDI translator (or mac equiv) for that?

keep em coming mate.

You know i got the idea from abletonlivedj, they didn't make a video there for this effect, and thought it would be a good idea.

Didn't know that there is such a function like "distribute equally" as i don't use this technique for making my music ;)

regarding your related question:
I think you could just map your keyboard keys to Mute/Unmute. (The speaker symbol)
But i suppose it would be better to use an external device which sends MIDI Controll Messages and use four of these to Mute/Unmute one chain or another.
