anyone else have this problem?

Yes I have something similar in 2.1.2 (sorry still haven't upgraded yet).

I tried to move (actually copied) my VST plugins to the OSX VST plug-ins folder in Main Library, then changed the location in Live Preferences.

This appeared not to work so I opened preferences again and selected the original plugins folder (happens to be in OS9 Apps Cubase Folder) - now this doesn't work either. VERY ANNOYING since I had Live arrangements that now don't work because they can't locate the original pluggin file.

checked prefs many times to see if I'd gone mad - but no!

One thing I did have until recently was all my previous versions of Live in the OSX apps folder, but I recently ditched them figuring they were no longer needed.

i'm having a different problem i think... some of the vst plugins i used frequently in 2.x aren't showing up in 3.02... i think maybe there's a limit on the number of plugins one can use in 3.02...???

some of my installed vst plugins doesnt show in ableton when i click vst plugins
all my .dll plugin files in the folder whic is set in ableton
i have 10 vst instrument and just got absynth yesterday but cant open from ableton only stand alone.

if i open the plug in folder from windows all the plug ins are in the folder but from ableton i only see three ???????????
