i have my axiom 49 keyboard and ableton running.
when i look for my axiom on the midi/sync tab under the control surfaces it doesnt give me the option to select my Axiom ?
anyone can help me with this thx??

i tryed everything but i can't get the aziom to show on the control surface list!!!
any ideas? i have ableton 5

I'm not sure how it works in 5 and I don't have a 5 install anymore to check it out. Ableton support can probably help you though.

anynone who has an axiom 49 ?? can you see your axiom on the drop down menu of control surfaces under the midi/sync tab on ableton's preferences??

you are runningn windows I am assuming.

what you need to do is go into the device manager and manually re-install the driver.

What is happening is M-audio let xp assign a generic driver, which live can't read. So you need to tell it to use the M-audio driver and not the generic MSN midi device driver

I learned this after 3 weeks of screaming every 4 and 5 letter word. My cat still won't come near me if I have the Axiom out.
