When setting breakpoints on the 'track volume' i can only get linear interpolation between breakpoints. Is this a 'feature' of live or can this interpolation be changed to somthing like Hermite or JSpline?

I will take that as a no.
I am guessing that it may add too much overhead anyway.

no spllnes yet in Live, but I believe it's a much requested feature so who knows maybe in Live 7....
