Keyboard doesn't interact with Live

HI there,
can somebody please help me to connect my YAMAHA PSR 620 (I know it's ancient) to LIVE? I've got midi interface cables but when i try pressing any of the keys it doesn't transmit to LIVE, hence I have to use my lap top keys for playing notes.
