PadKontrol X/Y pad to Live Crossfader?

So I've been able to map the x/y pad to the crossfader, but as soon as I let up on the pad the fader goes back to center. Is there a way to assign it where it will stay in the last position that I touch on the pad? In other words, if I let go of the pad when my finger is on the left/A, what do I do to get it to stay there rather than reverting back to center?
Hope that made sense. Please help...

Not one hundred % certain, but in the PK editor, click the values for the x/y pad, you should see something that says " Release Value". Thats what you are looking for. Again, im not sure if you could have release to last value( as i believe thats what yer lookin fo ).
On a side note, i know that if you can get int o "native mode" thats how the x/y pad defaults, but working with native mode is whole 'nother ball of twine. Im working on putting something together now for PK users to get native.

OH dude, SIMPLE SIMPLE solution! it was bugging me for days to the extend that I had to start pressing/holding buttons down... so ummm yeah, just press the HOLD button, and now you can crossfade with the trackpad

hope it works for you as magically it worked for me!!

Thanks guys. I was a little nervous I'd get one of those "read the manual" responses. One down.
Thanks again.

The hold button?! Genius! I've been trying to figure out how to use the pad as a Kaos Pad-like interface but same problem. I'll try it out!
Thanks here too!

Unrelated, but if you are using a softsynth that supports program changes you can press the 'Prog Change' button, spin the wheel (in the setting section) and it'll change presets! Doesn't seem to work in NI stuff, but LoungeLizard is one thing that does work.
Tip from those Perpetual videos on Youtube btw.

The manual is next to useless for this feature -- IIRC the hold button is documented in a completely different place from the release values, and discussed with completely different terminology. It took me forever to figure it out too, someone had to tell me.
