finally I manage to get a pair of genelcs 8020s. Turn them on yesterday, and the first result, without tilting or calibration, was astonishing.
Never heard nothing clearer than this babe. Spent 12 hourd listening to references, a shock in every song.
perfect stereo image, and everything else.
Just to thank sales dude and many others that insisted on these tiny perfect monitors.
happy as pig in shit

... They are definitely on my list...I am in love with genelecs...
Had the privilege of using some of their sets in studios...
They are one of the most enjoyable to work on... and awesomely clear ...
yet they are easy on the ear !!!
this is very important for me...

I just had a look for prices and locally in Australia I can get them for $1500 AUD which is around 6-700 QUID and I look on the digital village website and they are going for 395 quid (no farkin pound symbol on this laptop)
cant believe they hike it up that much here for freight
I wonder how much DV would charge for freight to Oz???

£595 for the pair is what i paid. i did however see a pair of ex display ones online (turnkey i think) - for £450 - no box and scratched. Aye they are surprisingly wieghty for their size.
