hi
i've been browsing the groups for an answer to my question, but no luck.
i'm about starting using Live for Live shows (as opposed to production), and i'm afraid of accidentally hit the spacebar and stop everything in the middle of the set.
is it possible to deactivate this key command?
i looked into key mapping, but couldn't figure out a way.
can anyone help?
thanks in advance

Can't be done natively in Live, sorry. If you're on XP, there's a freebie app someone wrote to disable this, but you'll have to do some searches here to find the link for it.

activate the sync button - and then the spacebar doesn't stop the set anymore

oop sorry, i mean the 'EXT' button - same diff - it relates to the 'sync' fields in the preferences
You must however have something enabled as sync in the preferences, but I don't think that should matter much
Keep in mind that even the transport stop and play will not work while that button is lit! (Or things mapped to them either)
It's kind of like a safety switch for the transport when used like this
