"Failed to read sample.........It may be corrupt"?

Post by jk81 » Thu Jul 19, 2007 12:45 am

I'm getting this error in live 5.0.3 on 46 out of 50 samples that I've tried to load. There is no reason I can think of why these 4 will work. I have 1 sample loaded and chopped up on audio 1 and I want to add another sample on audio 2, but only a few will work. Its very frustrating. Can anyone help?

Thanks,
jk81

Hi,

First thing to do is to upgrade to 5.2.2. It should be free, or quite cheap if you're working with an Intel Mac and first unlocked Live 5 before January 10 2006. Live 5.0.3 is outdatd.
