well I've shopped around for it..and found that Amazon were offering Live 6 so I've purchased a copy.
But I got Live 5 as a present and I had loads of problems of it - which (from reading the posts here) seem to be down to the fact that its not a 'Universal Binary'.
I've shelled out the money for Live 6 as I geniunely like the product and hopefully it will use my MacBook Pro 2 Core Duo to its best extent -
but why doesn't the Amazon site mention this 'Universal Binary' ? Is it possible I have got the wrong version of Live 6 (there was only one listed !) thanks

Every version of Live for mac after version 5.2 has been universal binary.

Hey Mark,

How come you didn't just upgrade your copy of 5? Must be cheaper than buying live 6 full version from Amazon...

also isn't there a $50 5.0 to 5.2 update(for UB)?
