Recommended audio interface?

I would greatly appreciate some suggestions for a good audio interface - preferably USB. Basically want to have a monitor out in addition to a master out for use with Live. Low latency a must - anything else would be gravy.

I use an emagic emi 2|6, with the master output of live going to outputs 3 and 4, and the monitor output going to 1 and 2, which is shared with the headphones. 20ms latency with 98SE, and is small and easily transportable. Only drawback: all outputs are on RCA connectors, and are therefore unbalanced, but this hasn't been a problem yet.
hope that helps!
Thanks

Mateo,
Thanks for the info. I was checking it out at Emagic's site and they don't say what the ouputs exactly are! I'm testing XP right now, though 98SE is an option to return to.

The Emagic interface that Mateo suggested is a great piece of gear that you couldn't go wrong with. I would also suggest looking at the MidiMan line as their interfaces are said to be good. Have you considered a firewire interface?

I haven't a firewire interface on my desktop, and I have no laptop as of yet. I figured if I do get something now, might as well get something that I could use with both, which in this case would be USB.

That's cool if you don't have a firewire now, but since it's probable that you will the next time you upgrade I would suggest something inexpensive, yet of good quality...like the emagic. Also, check out this page for an overview of USB I/O interfaces:

Hope this helps and good luck.
