echo indigo problem - knocking wireless out

had a quick look round and cant see any post on this.
just got my echo indigo dj this morning and installed using the drivers from the echo site.
all worked perfectly except it seems to knock my internal wireless card oujt of action (doesnt seem to be detected any more by windows)
as soon as i uninstall the echo drivers the wireless card works fine again?!?!?!
I am running vista on a toshiba a100-337
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!
