how much would you be willing to pay for a hardware ableton

something like the mpc or mv8800,but with every option ableton has.this would be the sickest piece of gear out there.i know im dreaming,but maybe someday.

yeh, he seems to have those mad controllers built for him and i can imagine in the future him ending up with a complete hardware ableton powered type thing....like a groovebox equivalent. It would be a different version of the program in the unit but

how bout an mpc with vst support?
or just get an mpc and a muse receptor. the only thing you'd be missing is the session view.

ehh, £1000 a unit of what i was on about... for a groovebox contender type thing.
A hardware equivalent would be a nightmare... would have to be scaled down a fair bit

I would never purchase a hardware version of this program, because it would not be easily upgradeable. the software allows for an infinite number of configurations. controllers are the best way to go. Learning max/msp has been something that has drastically changed how I hear electronic music.
