Kid is awesome. Hopefully he'll start playing with some decent bands sometime soon.

Yeah, more awesome kids. They will make it to big ones (hopefully, when i imagine how much time of their childhood they spent on drumming)

One thing I noticed on the first kid is NO EAR PROTECTION.
I hope his folks are teaching him sign language too.

Now
he's fucking good. Blows the other kid off the map.
Couldn't help thinking, though, whilst watching his EIGHT MINUTE drum solo that he'd be a fucking nightmare to be in a band with.
"For fucks sake Tony -
just play the groove!"
"Boom-ka-bap-boom blobbleobbleobbleobble bap! Boo bap boom bap-da blobbleobbleobbleobble ka-pish-pishpish-posh-blobble-boo-BAP!!

Put that kid in a good Jazz Ensemble and it bet it would be really good.
After a while, though, it would get OLD.

thing is he has a big head start - what will he be like when he's 30 and has a bit of life experience and maturity??
it takes 10 years to learn to play your instrument, then another 10 years to learn to play your instrument
