Changes from Live 6.0.8b7 to Live 6.0.8b8:

Bug fixes

On OS X, if the "Template.als" would be an alias, it would not used from Live.

Live could crash on certain actions when a MIDI controller surface was selected in the MIDI preferences.

I opened an existing Live 6 project in 6.08b8 and did some work on it... I saved it as a new Live Set within the existing project, and quit the program, when I got the following error message, and then program quit itself about 5 seconds later:

Image

The new copy of the live set will open fine in 6.08b8, but that error message appears every time I try to close it, or quit the program while that particular live set is open...

If I try to open the live set in 6.07, it appears to have no problems when closing the live set or at any other time...

My setup is:

Macbook Pro 2.4ghz
2gb RAM
5400 160gb HDD
Windows XP (running under Boot camp)
Fireface 400

Hi,

is there a release date for the 6.0.8 ?
I'm getting mad with the transpose bug when using Zebra or other AU.
I know this bug has been fixed but I don't know if I could use the 6.0.8beta for every day use in the waiting of the release.

How do you know that its been fixed? Its not even listed under the os x bug fixes. I'm with you. That automation bug is Horrid and needs to be addressed. Total Burden on the workflow.

Hi,

Yes, it's been fixed:

Could you try the latest beta and confirm that is works for you? This is an important phase and any feedback is very useful.

Amaury

Live OSX doesn't like symlinks...

Live crashes when my "~/Library/Audio/Presets" folder is symlinked or aliased to another location. I have all my preset folders and library content (for Logic mainly) symlinked to an external library drive. Logic doesn't have an issue (as long as the paths are symlinked and not aliases) but Live won't finish booting because of it.
