Long Record Times/Crash

Is anyone recording mult tracks over 15min long and experiencing crashes? Ver 2 did it now Ver 3 is doing it! Using a 30 gig external Lacie drive, 500mhz iBook and Motu 828. Any suggestions on a fix!! We are only recording a stereo guitar and mono bass and this does NOT work for longer record times.[/b]
