I'm not such a fan of the drums on 'electricactus'. I hate putting down something when it's different and unusual, but I thought they were distracting. Maybe some simple dynamic or filter effects would soften them a bit.
I like the track 'Horizon on the clouds' a lot. So many ambient-ish songs lack emotion, and end up just a mess of sounds, but this one is nice and simple and has feeling. Good job.

I'm definitely set on keeping the drum intro as is in terms of actual drum notes, but I will take your advice and try a few filters over it. The whole point of the beginning drum line was not to set a groove really, but to establish a pulse beneath the chaos that the eventually groove snaps into, which is a moment I feel works well. This song is funny in the reactions it gets. There have been a few folks who have written me to call the drum intro "divine"! LOL. I guess different strokes for different folks. But I do appreciate your advice and will try out some stuff on it to maybe soften the effect of the chaotic drums a bit.

Horizon on the Clouds is actually the very first piece I made using Ableton Live. I remember doing an actual dance of joy after I had finished it. To be honest, that track is the only one that my mom likes of my music! HAH! Not that my mother is my intended audience, but it's always cool to have at least 1 track that let's yer parent understand why you live the life you do.

Anyhow, thanks agian for taking the time to give a listen and the feedback. I will keep a look out for tracks by you to return the favor some time.
