I have tried multiple free converters and I even bought smart converter for ten bucks and All I get when I play the MP3 conversion is dead air??? Has anyone had this problem?

I export wav out from ableton 6.0.3 and I cannot get it to an MP3.Any help greatly appreciated.

iTunes can do it just fine.

the weird thing was that's exactly wat my freind said and it didnt change it to mp3 it still played as a wav is there any setting I need to change?

Well it's not automatic, you have to tell it to convert the file

First you may have to set your preference in iTunes to mp3, I think it might default to AAC encoding
