Hi.

I'm running 6.07 on my laptop with a ReMOTE zero.I was running the automap universal version of imposcar (latest) and was moving controls and trying out assignements.For some reason the filter cutoff when turned fully down also turned off tempo source(no idea why they are both different cc values.any ideas?)so i clicked on the tempo source and live crashed.Anyone had any issues with automap?I've hardly used it but imposcar has crashed live in the past but has been fine since the update.Just want to know if automap is solid or if it has issues with certain plugins in which case i won't use it or at least be careful when using it(unless of course i have more weird automap behaviour )

Since found out that filter cutoff only turns off sync when the track is armed.I only tested it briefly but it looks like all is not well with automap universal.I'll tr it with other plugins see if the problem repeats itself but any idea why filtcutoff is turning off tempo sync when they are different cc values?Bug?

I'd take it up with the Novation people. They seem to be in the know with all of the bugs with the plugins and such. When I first had issues with automap, i deleted automap and reinstalled the latest software and haven't had any problems since. I don't have ImpOSCar but I should probably get it soon. Hope I don't have that problem. Sorry I couldn't help more, but I just didn't want your post going on unanswered.

It only happened with AU and on my laptop.I just wanted to be sure there weren't going to be ongoing problems with the SL. Yeah it's more an novation issue so i'll take it up with them if i have any more problems.

Have you used Automap Universal?Whats your opinion of it and what uses does it have?

i'm actually not using Automap Universal in Live right now and this is why. When I enable my Automap Universal plugs in the plug-in manager, they all appear in the Celemony folder in Live. Novation says this is a problem with Ableton and they have to fix it. So for now, to keep things organized, I'm not using Automap Universal in Live. In everything else though, it's good to be able to call up the parameters you want and save them and such. I think programming in Automap in general is just a lot easier than any other MIDI controller. But Automap Universal is not the Jesus Christ of MIDI or anything. It just has it's situations where it can be used. I don't like how if I move my session to my brother's Macbook, which doesn't have Automap Universal, I need to load in the non-Automap server plugins.

No but it's pretty damn close!

i was using automap with FM7 the other day and it was just like hardware even though i didn't know what control related to what on the screen but that was half the fun;i was creating patches without knowing what each control did or needing to know!

Thats why i'm holding onto this.I'm not using software much but when i do i know i can fire up the remote and start making new sounds quickly and i think thats what everyone wants,to work as fast as they can without things getting in the way(i know i do)

I won't bother with universal unless i really need to create a template but it's a good thing to have imo
