chain selector - multiple CC value ranges on single chain

I would like to be able to setup multiple chain selector ranges for a single rack chain.

On a single chain I would have two ranges set to where audio/midi would get routed through that single chain at two seperated points within my 0-127 value scale....

For instance....
20-45
90-110

Therefore when my knob hits CC 20 the chain will be active...
then OFF at 46
then ON at 90
then OFF at 111

Could allow for some complex rack chain layering modulation.

Now sure I could have two copies of the same chain in a single rack each with their individual ranges but this would be much more streamlined.

I've wanted this for a long time, and I keep running into it. It's one of those features that seems like it would be quite easy to implement and have a great payoff in expressive flexibility and RAM efficiency.

Agreed. Even just to make simple Bi-Polar type FX where 64 (middle range) is off/dry.

Heres a solution if you have M4L...

With it you can draw a smart map of how you want a control to progress when an encoder is turned...
