Hi, I am brand new to electronica, I love the free spiritedness of it all. Could you guys check out my tracks and give me your feedback? I'd greatly appreciate that!
I have 2 songs up at
www.myspace.com/tonystone
1 Electronica 101
2 Electro 100
I'd love to get feedback!
Thanks

Man I totally love the vibe of your music. Love the choice of sounds, total mixdown etc. Which synths or samplers do you use to create this style?
Also the electronica track seems to be a new style to your genre. I actually really like the vibe though I wouldn't call it pure electronica. The fact that you have integrated your style with electronica gives it a pretty unique flavour.
Anyway keep up the good work, I would love to hear some of your new music.

Hey that info's super helpful, since i'm a PURE NEWBY to electronica. I mostly do soul and hiphop (and related styles). May I ask where you live (country, etc.)? I'm trying to really get a feel for the culture and tastes of different regions.
I suppose i'll put up some new music so long as people are listening

I promise I am not trying to bump my own thread (please believe me), but I've added another instrumental called 110 Electronica Instrumental (2nd song). Listen to that all the way

Thanks so much! really your guy's input is so valuable to me because im not fully familiar w/ the genre, but I'm very familiar w/ hiphop and that's my main reference point.
Please the more critique the better!

My Heart Instrumental sounds really good... it's begging for vocals of some sort though...
110 Electronica Ins has a really positive yet dark feel. I'd say it's a bit tribal, hard to categorize....
very nice work though!
edit: just listened to agape soul, definitely my fav of yours... awesome! keep it up

Thanks so very much! I definitely didn't expect any feedback from my hiphop stuff, but I'm delighted that someone listened
Every week I will add a new electronica instrumental in hopes of keeping people comming back and also to exercise my craft a bit. I'm so interested in learning more about electronica!

Yeah! Great effort!
The vinyl sound is great but used it sparingly as an effect so that it brings in a new change within the arrangement!
Focus more on the overall track, make it a journey from beginning to end with various moods, changes, sounds, textures in-between.
The rhythm sounds are solid with a great feel! Great bass and drums, though the snare is a bit harsh in the top end of the frequency. I guess that's the effect you wanted.
The swirling arpeggiated melodic groove is really sweet! Love it! Definately the highlight.
Keep on grooving

Now were you listening to the autum rhodes (hiphop beat) or the electronica beat? (the second one)?
Or both!
