LiveDJ: Buffer Problems after 2,5 hours ?!?

Guys,
need help very soon.
I am Djing with live since a few month. I worked with big sets (about 600 Tracks and more) everything is running fine for more than 3 hours. Yesterday i have splitted the set to make a smaller one (about 200 tracks). And now, after 2,5hours there are audio dropouts/latency problems, like if the Audiobuffer ist to small/high ? What could it be ?
Ram at 40% CPU at 20%...
For the moment i defrag. the HD, but i think it doesn´t solve my problem.
I tried several buffersizes 256-640 - nothing helps !!
The machine:
Dell Inspiron 6400 2x1,66
2GB Ram 80GB HD
Live 601
Audiofire 2 firewire
Audiobuffer 576 samples (works great with more than 600 tracks)
Please help, i have a gig at next weekend...
