Oxygen 8 disconnecting in Live 6

Hey, I'm running Live 6.07 and running an Oxygen 8 MIDI into it. When I load the program the laptop recognizes the keyboard and it works for say...5-10 minutes. However, once that time is up Live simply stops recognizing my keyboard. I'm forced to restart everything, and the cycle begins anew. The keyboard works with my other PC, so I was curious if anyone knows how to troubleshoot this or has any suggestions. Thanks a ton.

Hello,
See in you Windows Device Manager, and set the USB ports to be always ON. There is an option that allows the USB ports to save energy, and that should be turned OFF.
Regards,
Amaury

Hmmm...just for the record, in Vista, how do you do that? I've got my comp on High Performance but can't seem to find any option like that. Also, it drops out even while I'm using my MIDI keyboard, right around the 5 minute mark, almost like clockwork...anyone else dealt with this? Again, thanks for replying and any future help.

Don't know vista, but in xp it is on a tab on the usb devices in the device manager. I can't imagine that it would be different in vista
it is a tick box labeled something like "allow to turn off power to this port"

Yeah, I don't have those boxes checked, so it can't be that. The computer itself doesn't stop recognizing the keyboard, Live just simply stops letting me play at around the 5 minute mark. It's gotta be something within the application. Any other suggestions?
