bitstream 3x questions

I'm considering getting a 3x but I have a couple of questions about it from users.

I see 2 CC# on the knob labels. Can you have different "pages" of knobs with it? (Like on the behringers)

Do you also get a shift in the 8 assignable buttons?

Can you use the joystick for session navigation + clip trigger?

can you assign CC messages to 3 knobs that control LFOs, etc?

this really seems like a great controller. I was considering a SL zero or the new xone 1D, but this bitstream seems more compact and well thought out.

recently bought a bitstream. I have to say that it went back the day i got it.
This controller is somewhat CHEAP and CRAPPY built.
I think the production costs are not more than 50$ - including development.
This was by far the most shitty piece of Hardware i had so far.
And, i had a LOT.
DONT buy it!!!!
Every Knob had a different feeling the faders are crap..
U dont get much for ur money. I would pay 150$ for it. And that is by far too much.

Cheers

Daniel

I think you had a bad serie because mine is perfectly built.
Also I know many users that are happy with it.

hi joeman, maybe so - could be so ...
its just my recommendation to not buying this controller somewhere
u don´t have the cashback option. Really.
I still think its cheap components. The rubberpad was cheap, the Joystick felt wobbly and won´t give the whole working range from 0-127 per axis.
The Display was bad illuminated, the buttons... mmmh :?

BUT, it could have been a "monday" thingy....
its really just my opinion - its always better to share also the bad experiences - no offense
