Redrum Playing Double Notes?

Hi All,

First post, so please be nice ;)

I'm a new Live 6 user, but have been using Reason for a while. I've been ReWiring them together for the last few weeks, and have come across a weird problem. It goes a bit like this...

Launch Live
Launch Reason
Create a Redrum on mixer channel 1 in Reason
Load any patch into this Redrum
Program a basic 4/4 kick or clap (easier to hear the problem with a clap) drum pattern
Set Reason to run a 4 bar loop
Set "Audio From" on a Live audio channel to "Reason" and set it's "Monitor" to "In"
Press play

Then, whenever the loop restarts, the first note is doubled. This happens even when the notes are being played from the sequencer (as opposed to Redrums internal pattern sequencer...) The length of the loop doesn't seem to matter either, it just happens when the loop restarts...

It only seems to be affecting Redrum. I've tried eliminating everything else (unplugged my microKontrol, NI Audio 8, etc), I've tried searching the forums and elsewhere.

Anyone having a similar problem, or know a solution?

If it helps, I'm on a MacBook Pro 2.4, latest versions of audio drivers, Reason and Live (no betas being used), all OS X updates installed.

Any help greatly appreciated :)

I'm having this same problem man but its any percussion that is looped and run from a sample. I'm trying to figure out why, I'll keep you posted.

For me it's usually after the 8th or the 16th even if its a 4 bar loop.

Thanks for letting me know :)

I think I'm going to send this to Ableton support now. I don't seem to be getting anywhere with it on my own...

Cheers,

Ben
