Ableton Forum

This is probably a really simple answer, but I just can't seem to figure this out. When I used to launch a clip in ableton, it would wait until the end of the bar to play this clip, meaning I could click the play button, and it would launch the scene in time with the music, it would wait until the end of the bar. Now, when I click the play button, it plays the clip immediately, it doesn't wait for the end of the bar.. does this make sense? I just want to know how to set up ableton so that when i click the play button on a clip, it will wait until the end of the bar before launching this clip

Set the global quantize to 1 bar.
