hello all, this is my first post and yes I am a noobie in computer music making!
well, I have recently purchased Live 6 and before I install it I would like to get rid of the preivous version 5.2 I had and crashed(you know what I mean  )
So yes, I am asking:
How do I go on to delete everything related to previous version of Live?
Can I still open files that were created using the dodgy version?
Do you guy recommend adding a new user to my Mac OSX and having it just for Music?

thank you for any info....
cheers,

on osx, live stores files in the following places:

unlock key and bug reporting -
user home/library/application support/live/

preferences, startup log, crashed songs, user remote scripts -
user home/library/preferences

application folder -
HD/applications/live (+version number)

and there's not really any need to create a new user just to use live.
unless you have lots of other applications running in the background and / or a machine with slow processor and little RAM.
