...if you can help, I'd be forevah greatful.
I'm trying to use my Legacy Cell in Cubase and rewire to Live 6. (since the plug-in for the legacy cell is absent in the menu) But I'm stymied. I presume Live would be the master and Cubase the slave, but what the - ?
I've sorta scoured the manual and info on this topic is either elusive or absent. Any vet's able to give a rookie a hand?

I don't think cubase can be rewire slave

make ableton slave in cubase and run your vst will be easier I guess

The vst would have to be run in cubase though, because Live can't run vst's in rewire slave mode

I can't be 100% on this because I don't have cubase to test, nor any other daw to slave Live in to test...

but that is my understanding


also people sometimes used Energy XT to wrap VST's in Live

Cubase cannot run as a rewire slave, only host.

my mac HATES the legacy cell. i'm pretty sure its an intel-mac problem. i don't think it shows up in my menu either. has something to do with the usb key you have to BUY
STILL, i paid to get the upgrade and thats the only thing that still doesn't work. sucks too cause i loved the legacy cell. i still got ms20, polysix, and wavestation though.
