Who R the Cool New D&B Artists?

Hey ya'll need your help.

Years ago I got into artists like Roni Size, 4Hero & Goldie (and actually I still like um). But I feel I have lost touch with who else is out there adding to their pioneering D&B tradition.

So what new artists are out their that I should check out who make D&B from the heart instead of high speed eletro ejaculation with the same sounds as everyone else.

Thanks

ABZurd

Noisia are producing Nice Bass, and i think Spore has a cool track on TeeBee's Carpe Diem CD. I like Evol Intent too.

check out beatport or breakbeatscience

i'm a huge fan of MIST (marcus intallex and ST files), calibre, alix perez, klute, atlantic connections (nate is always putting out the hotshit and he's from NC), ltj bukem, pfm, alask & paradox, fanu, dillinja, lemon d, andy c, lomax, hive, gridlok, d bridge, high contrast, CLS, danny byrd, greg packer, anything on hospital, dj marky, dj zinc or dj hype or anything on bingo or ganja kru, ill logic and RAF, loxy, ink, dylan, anything on metalheadz (goldie's label), i'm leaving out a lot of the darker stuff cause theres sooo many different artist and you said roni size, and 4 hero and goldie (even though he's got some meaner stuff)

i got away from buying vinyl a couple of years ago. BUYING mp3s is actually pretty cool. you save like 8$ per song cause honestly i use to just buy vinyl for one song and spending 10$ for one song is lame. b sides usually sucked anyways. now i can spend 2$ on the newest shit out there and get what i want out of it. hope that helps a little bit

Why oh WHY do people always quote GOLDIE, 4Hero, Roni Size, LTJ Bukem etc when mentioning drum'n'bass and totally fucking overlook what A GUY CALLED GERALD contributed to the whole Jungle/Drum'n'Bass scene.
It kind of makes my blood boil at how overlooked he was/is as an influence on all those artists and then some.
Ok Rant Over.

+1 for Pendulum

Alot of people in the DnB scene talk shit about them, I could care less though. Hold Your Colour is a killer album.

technical itch is pushing the envelope on the darker side of dnb biz. as the other stuff seem pretty repetitive on the dancefloor... he's just becoming more and more complex. i was a big d'n'b fan some years ago.. and he's actually the only one im still listening to.
