A crew of promoters (UDG Inc.) in Pittsburgh somehow obtained a permit from the city to close a major tunnel for a rave, they told the city they were filming a documentary on electronic music, but were really just throwing a party...the boldest move in the underground renegade scene in Pittsburgh in the mid 90's....it was great, they got a lot of crap afterwards but it was totally worth it...

good times! yes lots of good E at that one!

noteworthy appearances by Dieselboy, Lonnie Fisher a.k.a. Entity from D.C./Baltimore mastermind of Ultraworld parties, DJ Sun from Baltimore....

That was my first party. And whoever it was that said it was Stickman and Eric D? It wasn't. Its was Ruffian, Smoov and Dieselboy that was in UDG Inc. I know all of them.

This is absolutely brilliant if you get the chance to see it. They can only show it at film festivals, when the cost of licensing all the news footage is cheaper, as opposed to general release in theaters when it's expensive. It's a real shame.

It traces the history of free parties in the UK and the convergence of the new age traveller scene with the then nascent rave culture. There's a lot about Spiral Tribe and the fallout from Castle Morten.

Castle Morten? Google it if you don't know it. There's no reason why many younger people would, to be fair. [*1]

Tehe, it was the naughtiest thing we ever did and one helluva party! :D
