Ableton Forum

When I load up Abelton and go to lay down a MIDI sound it works for a couple minutes and then there is no sound. The yellow sound bar on the left side is registering a sound but nothing comes out of the speakers. If I close the program and re-start it everything is all good.

Keep in mind I am as big of a newbie as you can be. I am running Vista on a brand new Toshiba.

What instrument do you use?

If you mean what instrument do I use to play the sound then I use the computers keyboard. If you mean what instrument in Ableton then it does not matter which it is. It will work for a bit then stop making sound after a while.

Could you provide me with a screenshot what it looks like when the "yellow sound bar on the left side is registering a sound but nothing comes out of the speakers"?
