drop-outs in audiomixdown of Live's rewire tracks in Nuendo

There are drop-outs in the audio mixdown of Live's rewire channels in Nuendo.
It's caused by disk overload - Live is not able to load loops from the disk drive fast enough because the mixdown is performed at faster speed then realtime. I'm not shure what exactly rewire protocol allows, but I suppose that it also takes care of non-realtime-situations, as there are no problems with audiomixdown of e.g. Reason's rewire channels. It seems to be some overlook/bug in Live's rewire implementation.

Current workarounds are two:
1. Set all samples in Live to RAM mode (if the amount of your RAM allows that and you are using Live version 3)
2. Enable "Real-Time" option in Nuendo audiomixdown dialog (but then you are wasting your time, the mixdown takes unnecessarily long time)

Neither is acceptable official solution. I hope it will be fixed as soon as possible.

Hi nadlabak,

You're right. We hope to fix or offer a better workaround in a future version of Live.
I just posted something related here: http://www.ableton.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7068

Thanks for the reply Alex. I originally posted the workaround of clips to RAM here..

So it's finally good to at least see confirmation that it's a Live/Rewire issue. Hopefully this can be resolved in the next release as I believe it's a significant problem for many users, myself included. Thanks again for your input.
