I think this is final...
I did most of the sound design myself on this one - everything but the intro and outro ambience patches, and the hats/snare. Mostly Massive + CamelPhat/Space. Enjoy!
edit: Nebulae's been helping me with tips on the mixxx...what a guy!!!

Ethios, NICE! loved the intro and main part. it got monotonous a little before the halfway point, and at the 3/4 point got really nice again. dug the custom arps. and the panning in the beginning (listened on headphones) . definetley a high psy vibe.

Thanks! Glad you like it! It's still in progress, so the monotony will get filled in with more progression in interesting sounds. Nebulae gave me some great advice on panning, whihc is really helping me to open the sound up. I'll post a revision in a few days...

Glad you like it! It amazes me to create something personally meaningful, and other people connect with it. It seems impossible, so when it happens its like a miracle.

When I was into PsyTrance I would have loved this. Great tune mate!

I have been dancing to psy/goa trance for about ten years... this is very nice!
I'd play it in the daytime or early morning, outdoors... good stuff.
My only critique (which is funny considering the "monotony" comments) is that it isn't longer.
Length of a track like this totally depends on context, however... in the context of a 2-day party, you can take a lot longer to develop your themes, and really give each one time to soak in and slowly unfold. Sitting in front of a computer with headphones on, it's probably better to be concise like this.

The original version I posted was 16 or 32 bars longer in the first part, but I felt it was too slow of a development without spending a lot longer on this track, which I don't want to do. I'm not wanting to spend too long on any track until I get to the point of making stuff that is pro quality.
99% of the time my music listening isn't at a party, it's at home or driving around. There's so much insanely good DJ-ready music, I kinda like the idea of making home-listening electronic that could then be remixed into dancefloor music, and broken apart for live performance by me. Then again, I like developing dancefloor structures, so I go back and forth I guess.
I don't know of any labels that would want to release non-dancefloor psytrance though!

Yeah I like this. Could see this in a racing game, on the sports channels. Nice and fast, not boring or monotonous to me so I think you've nailed it.

It is nice work and woke me up. Are those drums breaks or a machine? Very marketable stuff man and could hear it in a movie, I enjoyed.

Well damn, maybe I should send to a label?
I made the kick in Albino (bezier-like pitch envelopes!), and the other percussion is all Battery 3 samples.
Creating all the sounds from scratch really inspired this track. I was creatively engaged at nearly every step of the way - no time spent clicking through presets - so it actually worked out much faster this way.
Seriously, thanks for the encouragement!!! It's so easy to lose perspective and get down on oneself, when good progress is actually being made!
