midi input from rewire host to multiple destinations in live

live 6.0x (all recent versions)...try sending midi to a sampler on say track 1 from another rewire host (such as pro tools), then create another track in pt, do the same thing again, except this time to another track in live with another sampler (with another patch loaded).......freezes up with no chance of recovery. I've tried this on several different hosts with several different versions of live...same result every time.
