Live crashes when render to disk and arming a track

Hello i was wondering if anyone knew of this problem or has experienced it
i use the following...macbook pro 2.4, live 6.0.10 (was 6.0.9) and reason 3.0.5, reason rewired with midi info coming from live
basically a couple of months ago i was ready to render and export a track i had finished, it got to the screen to select which tracks and bit rate etc, it let me choose a filename and where to save it, but as soon as i clicked save live crashed, no warning, no message it just went off
i thought at first i could be something to do with rewire so i decided to record the reason tracks into ableton as oppose to just the "in" activated. But when i click the record button on the track, live crashed again
so in the end i uninstalled live and then reinstalled it all again, which worked, up until tonight, im now on version 6.0.10 its doing the same thing with a recent track.
the strange thing is it doesnt do it on new projects and it will let me export if i delete all but 1 track
the only plugins im using is the live presets and the Audio Units already on Mac (im only using the graphic equalizer here), but even with them turned off the same thing happens :S:S
all the software ive got is legit, bought and paid for so its nothing to do with cracks etc
its not an urgent matter which is why im asking here first, but it is very annoying as when i want to finish a track i have to go through the process of deleting all but one track, exporting that, then repeat with a different track (i usually have around 15-20 tracks in my songs), and then reimport them all back into live to mix and export
anybody else have/had this problem with live?? its only happened on mac, before when i ran live on a pc it never did it
oh i have osx 10.4.10
