Anyone know anything about poor Firewire performance on Vista? Whether I connect my TC Electronic Konnekt or an external hard drive, I'm always getting really poor performance. I have both an onboard Firewire port and an Adaptec PCI card, both of which are using Texas Instruments.

I tried the "Update Driver" option in Vista's device manager but it says it's up to date.

I'd appreciate any help.
