coolest thing about OSX

Post by forge » Tue Sep 11, 2007 1:06 pm

I just discovered by accident if you hold control and scroll with the mouse wheel the whole screen zooms in massively close

no wonder designers like it 8)

Yet you refuse to convert. How many times to you have to discover more cool things about OSX before you see the light? Clearly your wife already has. :P

actually it's on my PC I just discovered it! 8O

if the macbooks were 14" I would have got one - the 13" screen really did me in

I think the dual boot thing would have been smoother though, although I think I would have had to buy mroe ram because the macbooks only shipped with 512 at the time I was buying

the OSX86 hack is cool but not all the drivers are there yet so it's kind of "mostly" functional but not quite....

there are heaps of people out there with 100% working Hack Pros or Hack Books but it totally depends what hardware you use

I'm typing from it now - but I have to use a network lead because wireless doesnt work and I can only use headphones with my FW410 because the inbuilt headphone jack doesnt work, only sound from the speakers

so it's totally fine when I'm at home, but as a portable it misses out

I wish Steve would just snap out of it and release it properly

maybe he wil.....

maybe he will......

Yep, you got it. Safari -> Prefs -> Default Web Browser. Easy!

he he...no it's way better than that

it zooms the whole computer in - whatever is on screen - not just the browser

on PC I use Opera but it seems to be way less agreeable on OSX so far

I might just update safari

there are just a few things about it that annoy me

I really like opera
