-temp files everywhere
-can't record automation into clips
maybe when this is fixed i'll use this again
but for now it aint cuttin it!

how can i erase automation within the clip? i need to clear the knob settings from my legacy cell...but no matter what i do, i can't seem to get those fuckers to stop moving...

I think that was the worst thread hijack I have ever seen.
I don't have Live open in front of me but when you are viewing the different parameters there's a "clear" button, or "clear parameters" button, or something to that affect. Click that to clear them, but I believe you can only do it to one parameter at a time.

What's a legacy cell? My clips don't have knobs. I want clips with knobs, damnit.
Just right click in the cell with the automation envelope you want to clear, and it is the top option.

i totally recorded automation into a clip last night?
got a midi loop going with overdub, move a knob, bam theres the automation...
hmmmm

LOL...ok ok ok...sorry...i know i hijacked, but when i was reading the original post, i thought of a problem i was having and sorta needed to put it out there....it just happened to be here...maybe if i weren't so high, i would've remembered i was still in someone else's thread...sorry...
