Live Crashes w/DFH and Amplitube 2

Hi all,
Great forum.
I've encountered some problems while running Toontrack's DFH alongside Amplitube 2.
The DFH is using about 612 MB RAM with the set up I have.
I also have 2 or 3 guitar tracks and usually a bass track (all of which have Amplitube 2 plug ins running on them).
It usually works fine but then all of a sudden - BANG - screen freezes up, high pitched squeal and I need to restart.
I've tried freezing some of the guitar tracks but still run into the same crashes.
I'm just wondering if I am expecting too much running the DFH as well as the Amplitube plug ins.
I just finished building the new PC, which should be more than hefty enough to do what I need (at least I thought so anyway).
Core 2 duo 2.66 GHz, 1333 FSB
2 GB RAM
500 GB Hard Drive
Focusrite Sapphire LE
M-Audio Oxygen 49
What can I do?
Your help would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks in advance,
Fran.
