You'll need an Aux Track in Pro Tools to audition Live. So, go ahead and create one. File > New Track. Select Mono Aux Input From the drop down menus in the Dialog Box. (I'm pretty sure you know hoe to do this, but...)

Then, insert Live as a plug-in in one of the inserts of the Aux Track. Select an out put in the ReWire Plug In Window.

Presto.
