hiya

i am having a problem at the moment... in the live devices part of ableton you have

Audio Effects
Midi Effects
Instruments

normally for example i would like to get the compressor and choose maybe side eq. or in Instruments/Impulse i could chose a preset of drum samples but now none of these presets are available.

obviously there is the small triangle which you toggle to see what's in the folders in live but nothing is showing up.

now this may have something to do with me copying my whole ableton folder from a different harddrive on to my laptop and then re-installing live and using that already set up and used folder as my main folder, but is there any way to get these presets back?

please help i would be extremely grateful. if i haven't made it clear in my explanation of the problem. please let me know and i can try and explain it differently.

btw. A useful tip. If you have a problem use google to search a specific site.

Eg. no presets site:ableton.com

will search the site ableton.com for the words no presets.

You'll get answers quickly by finding old posts.
