Hi

After fucking about with Live in a random manner I descided to digg in a bit deeper and start learning some things.

I have a question about controling settings through midi

I'm using the a vst effect called dblue Glitch (http://illformed.org/glitch/) and I want to tweak it using my UC-33e

I am able to assign knobs from my UC-33e within Live without any troubles.

Glitch has a midi learn function (right click) but I'm unable to assign anything.

Do I need to set something up in Live to pull this off?

And an additional question: can I assign a midi knob to any other setting with another vst? Even though it doesn't have a midi learn function? (for instance a tweakbench vst (http://www.tweakbench.com/)

I know this all might be basic knowledge to most of you, but i'm kinda clueless :D

Any help is welcome!

Take care

Benny

press the expand button in the title bar of glitch within ableton.... this will open up all the vst's parameters, now you can map any of them like you would any other controlls.
