Feedback problem

When i start Ableton I get a static kinda feedback through the speakers which goes when i turn off the program it doesnt do it in any other sound application. Any suggestions
do you have a built-in mic?
if so, you should disable this mic before starting LIVE (or your speakers) and be sure that all tracks are not record-enabled and set to external in in your start-up song...
