Anybody know where to get some high quality drum and bass percussion samples? What are considered the best sample libraries/websites?
Be good to put a thread together cause im sure these samples would be good for all genres.

I was very pleased with my "total drum and bass" CD.
So much so that i can just loop a couple of the samples for 3 minutes for a pleasing result. Which admittedly took the fun out of it a bit.

This what Impulse is for, make your own, very rewarding, add a few impulse's together in a rack and move the chain, deadly!

just dig up some nice funk, rnb, hip hop, etc. drum loops and chop em up! It's the way to go
If you still feel the need for some "classic" and popular dnb drum loop libraries, I'd say if you own reason, find yourself the Jungle Warfare refills. Tons of classic dnb loops there... in rex file format.
Dont know of any good non-refill dnb libraries, sorry.

The loop masters and zero-g ones are all good. They all have lots of hits and loops.
Other than that make friends with a funk DJ and persuade him that you should come round and listen to all the drum breaks in his tunes. After one or 2 suggest that recording them could be a good idea to save them for posterity.

You can rewire reason into it and play them that way.

nope. live does not import rex files.
Like brightonalex says, rewire reason into live and/or use a 3rd party sampler like Kontakt
Still, if you have refillls the only way of using them is with reason.

Its all good, I just realised that I can use my old recycle to export all my rex files into individual hits for use in sampler... Just as cool really.
Recycle is so handy i always end up coming back to it.
