Hi,

I use Ableton with Reason as slave.

1. I have 1 track with midi send to a synth in Reason,
and a return track in Ableton (IN)

2. I have 1 track with midi send to another synth in Reason,
and also a return track in Ableton (also IN)

3. Now i add another (third) midi-send track, send to Reason, also a synth, and return it to Ableton.

PROBLEM is If i send midi via the third track to reason, i hear the synth. But when i send midi via the second track, midi goes to synth 2 AND 3 !?!? The signals are not send seperate to the synths.

Is it possible that i can only send 2 midi tracks to Reason via ReWire? The setup in Reason is ok, ins and outs are ok.

Anyone with the same problems?

hi,

be sure that the midi response on all tracks in Reason is off when sending midi grom ableton to reason. It's the keyboard icon in the column named "In" in reason sequencer.

Otherwise you send midi from Ableton (on track 2) and internally to reason on track 3, so you hear both sounds playing...
