I just noticed the huge amount of different plugins from image-line...

Sometimes I feel like I live under a rock... and then it's just the moon... hah... that was funny.... no really... I do live under a big chunk of granite...

Anyway, Toxic III looks pretty good... but what about the rest?

Sytrus is awesome. So are the others.

You might want to wait till FL Studio 8 arrives and they usually offer great deals for most or all of their soft synths (and effects etc) about then.

I've always thought DirectWave looked great, though I've never tried it. Only $99 and imports almost everything, with a built-in Wav editor. It's like a cheap Kontakt! Surprised I never hear people mention it though. I think DrumSynth Live looks really cool too.

Sytrus is indeed a fantastic synth. Can do FM as easily as Subtractive, can emulate the Virus as easily as DX7, with amazing filters, and can have envelopes modulating EVERYTHING. You can even import single-cycle waveforms as oscillators. It's far more powerful than most people realize, and the sound is very very good.

Well, I've now downloaded the demos for both Directwave and DrumSynthLive. I'm interested to see what they're like and how well they work...
