why the f not relative? or did i forget smthg?

I think you're right. I found this (to my cost) when trying to open a set on my Windows Boot Camp partition when booted into OS X.

Edit: Actually, I'm thinking about clips...

can´t be true: samples stored under absolute paths?!?!?
