Machinedrum SPS-1UW Worth it?

Is the Machinedrum Userwave option worth the extra ££££££ over the SPS-1? Thinking of getting one but could do with saving the extra money if the 2mb (????? seems limiting) UW is not upto much. I am studio based and run Live (obviously) and SONAR, so i can pretty much deal with samples in Battery or such if i need to.
Any comments please?

it is totally worth it, once you get used to the awesome ay the machine drum UI stays out of your way, you'll find it a pain in the arse to pick up the mouse. resampling is really simple and spontaneous on the UW and you can load all your battery stuff on it too. (obviously not all at once)

If you are getting a Machinedrum, you DEFINITELY want the UW version, it's well worth it IMO, you just need to think of it differently than a "normal" sampler.

Deed Done

- went for the UW. Turnkey have done me proud again - they have stock arriving this week. They seem to get some bad press in some quaters, but earlier this year they got me a Select Series Moog Voyager, delivered to my door in about 4 weeks. So as far as i'm concerned they are pretty fucking good.

If you hed ordered direct from Elektron, you might have gotten it in two days. That's how long mine took to arrive, and I live in the US

so very much worth the extra dough
backwards tom-toms, cymbals, vocals and such. Pull loops off vinyl directly into RAM synth, then save as a sample.
it expands your palette beyond measure. I use the sampling function more than the synths by far.

Fuck no it's not worth it!!
Clearly you already got one and you have the disposable income to justify it but damn...
$1,640 off the elektron website vs $800 for my used sps. $800+ for some fucking reverse and fx!!!!
That's some sucker shit. sorry.
